About The Teacher:
Of the 16 years practising Iyengar and Astanga Vinyasa Yoga, Suzanne Nichole Preston has been teaching for 11 years. Suzanne has taught at the Manchester Yoga Shala Yoga Space and currently teaches Yoga in numerous health and fitness clubs. Over the years, Suzanne has worked with prestigious football teams, athletes, charities, run Yoga sessions on set with TV production companies for actors and crew, as well as office sessions.
Suzanne’s sessions are dynamic, flowing classes, synchronising movement and breath, focusing on mobilising the spine and working from the core to find the natural, organic movement of your body. This, Suzanne explains, helps to create strong foundations from which to explore all the postures and build a dynamic focused practice.
Suzanne is inspired by many approaches and disciplines from Yoga to Chi Gong, the teachings of BKS Iyengar and Sri K Pattabhi Jois. Suzanne’s background in dance (Ballet and contemporary) helps her explore the synchronism of body and mind through the use of breath, movement and stillness.
